The traditional ringtone business is severely hit by the 'subscription craze' but it’s no concern to CETECH as we are well prepared for the new challenges ahead by targeting specific user groups with our new products.

M-VAS is extremely appealing to a target audience of 9 to 18, the so-called 'tweens' to teens, with over 60% of them having purchased at least 1 VAS product in 2006 and the amount of 'pocket money' they receive growing to an average of US$ 2.


Targeting tweens and teens, our content team has sourced appropriate content such as Holly Dolly from local and international organisations.

Further, a youth portal putting together mobile downloads and networking utilities is planned to be launched in 2007.


CETECH has always been the leading company in creating mobile hits; in 2006 Nato's Chor Javon, exclusively licensed by CETECH and distributed to almost all on-deck and off-deck portals, has reached over a million in downloads.
